Salesforce has deducted $ 50 million for an investment fund that will focus on AI startups. Salesforce Ventures, the investment arm of cloud computing giant Salesforce, launches a $ 50 million fund. This involves investing specifically in startups who engage in artificial intelligence.
Like many tech companies, Salesforce is increasingly committed to AI. In the platform itself is the Salesforce Einstein tool, and more than 7,000 developers will mean applications that work with it.
Companies that want to benefit from the fund should be able to use Salesforce to expand their AI technology, says Matt Garratt, Vice President of Salesforce Ventures, on Cnet Technology. “If we find that agreement, we will continue to see if it has a talented management team, innovative products, a high market intelligence and strong business vision,” he says.
In addition to capital, companies in the fund also receive advice and access to Salesforce’s customers. The first startups have already received investments from the fund. It is about Highspot, Squirro and TalkIQ.
