NEMESYS delivers DWT Group new Mitel Skype telephony solution

NEMESYS has been commissioned by the DWT Group to provide a new Mitel Skype telephony solution, including management and maintenance.

The ‘old’ telephony system of the DWT Group no longer fulfilled the wishes and requirements of the organization. There was a need for more functionality and flexibility. Other assumptions for telephone replacement include: Increasing productivity through more effective collaboration tools, mobilizing mobility and using the Microsoft’s existing Microsoft infrastructure.

Mitel and Skype for Business

For the new telephony environment, a combination of Mitel and Skype for Business has been chosen. For the telephony functionality and accessibility, a Mitel MiVoice Office call server is used. And for collaboration tools, such as instant messaging, presence, video, and meetings, this is integrated with Skype for Business. In this way, the DWT makes use of the best of 2 worlds in 1 integral solution.
