AWS introduces billing model based on second-hand service

Amazon Web Services (AWS) introduces an invoice model based on a second-hand service . AWS wants to distinguish itself with this new service against competitors Microsoft and Google.

This invoice model applies to some Linux-based instances for the AWS EC2 and EBS services. The new billing service will begin on 2 October. AWS wants to become even more attractive for customers who want a clear insight into the costs.

Business like continuous integration tasks can become cheaper for AWS customers. AWS specifically addresses Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
